Our Story

At Designing Moments, our priority is you. We are specialist Indian and Asian wedding planners, based in London and planning celebrations across the UK and abroad. Our mission is simple: to bring your vision to life with creativity, expertise and complete dedication, from the first conversation, through your wedding day, to the honeymoon that follows.
With over 25 years of experience planning and leading events, we create weddings that are rich in tradition, beautifully personal and seamlessly run. We plan Hindu, Sikh, Gujarati and Muslim weddings, from the Mehndi, Sangeet and Haldi to the ceremony, the nikah and the reception. Every ritual is honoured, every timing is respected, and every family member is looked after.
Destination weddings
Dreaming of saying your vows abroad? We plan destination weddings from start to finish, including in Italy, where we have built partnerships with venues along the stunning Cilento coast. Beyond the celebration itself, we take care of your guests: arrivals, airport transfers, transport between hotels and the logistics that keep everyone where they need to be, so your family can relax and enjoy every moment.
Honeymoons and tours
Our care doesn’t end when the celebrations do. Drawing on our own extensive travel experience, we plan and book honeymoons tailored to you, whether that’s a romantic beach escape, a European city break or an adventure further afield. We handle the flights, hotels, transfers and special touches, so you can simply set off and enjoy your first trip as a married couple.
We also offer fully guided tours to destinations around the world, with one price and everything included. No hidden extras, no planning stress, just an expert guide and a well-organised itinerary from start to finish. They’re perfect for couples, families or groups who want to explore without the hassle.
Before the wedding, we also offer Shop in India: guided wedding shopping trips to India. We help you find bridal and groom’s outfits, jewellery and family clothing, with the planning, travel and trusted contacts arranged for you, so the experience is a joy rather than a headache.
Your wedding venue, without the hidden costs
We work with a wide range of wedding venues, from luxury London hotels such as the Hilton, Marriott and The Langham, to beautiful country hotels and spas outside London, including Sopwell House, De Vere, Crowne Plaza and Fairfield. Because we understand venue contracts, the small print, health and safety requirements and what caterers, decorators, staging, sound and lighting suppliers need from a venue, we can show you a venue’s true cost before you commit. No surprises later.
Experience that scales
Our team has led large-scale events for thousands of people at iconic locations including Alexandra Palace, The O2, Wembley Arena and the UK Houses of Parliament. These were not weddings, but they prove we can run a complex day with hundreds of moving parts, multiple suppliers and very large guest numbers, all with precision and calm. That is exactly the experience a big Indian wedding demands.
What sets us apart
We work only for you, never for the suppliers. Through our trusted network of caterers, decorators and production partners, we secure preferential rates and pass them straight on to you, often saving more than the cost of our fee. We are full-time planners, and when things don’t go to plan, we have the experience to solve problems quickly and think on our feet. On the day, we stay until the very end of the reception, making sure every supplier has delivered and the venue is cleared as we found it.
At Designing Moments, we understand that your wedding is a reflection of your story, your families and your traditions. We are honoured to stand beside you, from the first idea to the final farewell, and create moments you and your guests will cherish forever.
About Bhavesh

From a young age, I have been involved in organising events, volunteering for various charities and community organisations. As a young volunteer, I often wondered how the logistics of such events were managed. In 1997, I had the opportunity to help organise a sports tournament for the Gujarati community, and by 2001, I was a key member in planning and coordinating a large religious event that attracted over 8,000 attendees each day for eight days.
Over the next few years, I became increasingly involved in organising similar events. The excitement of working with diverse groups of people fueled my passion for bringing large events from concept to execution. While I worked in IT during the day, I found great joy in event planning during my spare time. I've planned and coordinated events at iconic venues like the O2, Wembley Arena, and the Houses of Parliament, gaining invaluable knowledge and experience in navigating the unique challenges and pricing structures of each venue. My ability to think on my feet and resolve issues as they arise became my greatest asset. In 2006, I planned my first wedding, and since then, I have designed and coordinated numerous weddings, honing my dynamic thinking skills to adapt when things don't go as planned. I have built strong relationships with reliable suppliers and partners while collaborating with various wedding venues, from council halls to luxury hotels
In the past nine years, I've also organised trips for friends, culminating in my first private tour of Nepal in 2019. This led to my passion for trips to Kailash Mansarovar and Mountain Trekking trips in Nepal and Tibet.
In late 2024, I decided to take my passion to the next level by dedicating myself full-time to event planning and management.
